To Those Who Come After Us

I'm writing to you from the last bastion of our race, as the last survivor of our species. We have been a great civilization, the likes of which the universe had never seen before. We came from the oceans, crawled ashore and over the course of millenia, we have risen to the stars.

We had never learned one crucial thing, though - namely that all people are equal, that all deserve to live. And so we fought until there was nothing to fight over.

Our home planet is gone, as are our colony planets. Humanity finally reached the end it deserved.
