"I have to tell you something," Lupin said softly. He was leaning against a tree. Sirius was standing in front of him. They were alone. "I-" he started when a big snowball hit him right in the face. Sirius burst out laughing.
"Where have you been?" James shouted. Peter was with him, carrying another huge snowball.
"Idiots," Remus replied, dusting off the snow but laughing as well.
Sirius quickly made his own snowball, then took Remus's hand and pulled him behind the tree.
"Let's get them," he giggled. Remus's cheeks turned red before he smiled.
"Perish, evil spirits!" they shouted.
